Ingredients
300g softened butter
400g sugar
2 eggs
10mL vanilla extract
240g all purpose flour
75g cocoa
5mL baking soda
2.5mL salt
Directions
Heat oven to 350°F (350-32)5/9 = 176.7 °C.
In large mixer bowl; cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; gradually blend into creamed mixture. Stir in peanut butter or chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-9 minutes.
Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet onto wire rack. Cool completely.
